The Sitabani Forest area of Corbett Park is a secluded area known for nature walks and popular attractions nearby. However, Sitabani is hard forest area and not under Jim Corbett National Park, hence CTR rules and regulations do not apply in this area. Sitabani was subjected to slash and burn agriculture by the local villagers over the years. As a result, soil erosion took place and soil moisture content decreased. The surrounding forests are home to many hoofed animals, including deer, nilgai and wild boar, which regularly destroy crops. In addition, domesticated animals such as cows, buffaloes, goats and even dogs often fall prey to tigers and leopards. The Sitabani tourist area is open for safari tourism throughout the year and there is no restriction on the entry of gypsies into the area. Sitabani now known as Corbett Landscape is a beautiful tourist area for nature walks and popular attractions nearby.
